At Bain & Savon, we have given careful consideration to our packaging, just as much as we have to our product ranges. We recognize that it’s not enough to simply offer plastic-free products if the packaging in which they are sent is still covered in plastic.
We take pride in assuring you that this is something you need not worry about when you order from us. Our packaging is designed to align with our store’s mission of promoting environmentally friendly practices and products. We believe in delivering goodness all around, and that includes our commitment to sustainable packaging.
What boxes do we use?
We are proud to inform you that all our parcel boxes are made from 100% biodegradable cardboard. We also make an effort to reuse boxes from our supplier orders whenever possible, even if they don’t look perfect. We believe it’s important to reduce waste wherever we can.
Our boxes are hand-stamped with our logo using non-toxic, water-based inks. We also strive to minimize our impact by using eco-padded envelopes or the smallest box possible to accommodate your order, ensuring that it can fit through your letterbox whenever possible.
What about the tape?
we seal all our packages with brown recycled paper tape. This tape is not only 100% biodegradable but also compostable, so you can feel confident that you’re making an eco-friendly choice when you shop with us. Even the adhesive used on our packaging tape is natural and compostable,
And the parcel packing materials?
We understand that the excessive use of plastic for parcel padding is a major issue, and we wanted to make sure we did our part to reduce plastic waste. That’s why we carefully wrap and pad all items we send using recycled paper instead. Parcels may occasionally contain biodegradable corn-starch packing peanuts.
We also believe in the power of recycling, so we encourage you to hold onto any packaging materials we send your way. You can reuse, recycle, or even compost our cardboard boxes, which we believe can be useful for other purposes.
