Coconut Milk natural shampoo bars hand crafted using the cold process soap making method.

Free from preservatives and SLS, Bain & Savon only use natural ingredients that are suitable for vegans, with no animal testing.

Solid shampoo bars blended with Shea butter and containing natural oils to nourish and hydrate your hair naturally.

A healthy alternative to commercial shampoo, free from chemicals and of course without a plastic bottle!

Key Ingredients:

Coconut Milk : Coconut milk contains lauric acid, vitamins, and minerals that nourish and moisturise the scalp and hair, promoting healthy hair growth and preventing hair breakage. Its anti-inflammatory properties can also soothe irritated scalp conditions, such as dandruff or eczema.  

Cocoa Butter - Cocoa butter is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants that can deeply moisturise and condition hair, reducing frizz and breakage. It can also improve scalp health by reducing inflammation and increasing blood flow. Additionally, its high vitamin E content can protect hair from environmental damage and promote healthy hair growth.

Solid shampoo bars are more concentrated than normal shampoos.

Lather the shampoo bar in your hands and apply the foam to your hair and wash as you would a liquid shampoo. Rinse and repeat concentrating on getting your whole head and scalp washed.

You may need a vinegar rinse afterwards, it will balance the Ph (soap is alkaline and our skin is slightly acidic). It will help remove any residue and leave your hair shiny

TRANSITION PHASE

When you first switch to our natural shampoo bars, you may go through what is called a “transition phase”. During this time your hair may feel oily, and feel it has a waxy residue on it.

Conventional shampoos and conditioners contain silicone to make your hair feel soft and look shiny. These products leave residues that natural products find hard to remove.

Conventional shampoos tend to remove your natural oils causing your scalp to react and over-produce oils to compensate. So because natural shampoo bars are more gentle it may take time for your scalp to adjust to a new washing method.
